I am SO IMPRESSED with what you did in your Menorah magazine – it is a magnificent achievement. Normally one has a fleet of journalists writing such a magazine, yours was a one-man show, with every article written by, and every photograph taken by, Dr Gomlevsky, and everything is of such a high standard. You must have worked through the night, many nights with a tight dead line to do so.
And such attention to detail – I shall only give one example of the impressive layout – how you followed through the yellow lines of the support columns in the mines (p66) with the yellow lines of the support columns of the Rascal restaurant ( p67) – brilliant.
I was impressed with your chronological tables, your history, your thorough coverage of every aspect of SA Jewry – I am only sorry that I cannot understand Portuguese.

Estou TÃO IMPRESSIONADA com o que você produziu na Revista Menorah – é uma façanha magnífica. Normalmente alguém possui um esquadrão de jornalistas escrevendo uma revista como essa, o seu foi um show de um único homem , com cada artigo escrito e cada fotografia tirada por Dr. Gomlevsky, e tudo isso num nível muito elevado. Você deve ter trabalho noite adentro, muitas noites com um prazo muito apertado para fazê-lo.
E uma atenção para detalhes – eu vou dar apenas um exemplo do impressionante layout – como você seguiu as linhas amarelas dos suportes das colunas nas minas (p66) com as linhas amarelas do suporte das colunas do restaurante Rascal (p67) – brilhante.
Fiquei impressionada com suas tabelas cronológicas, sua história, sua ampla cobertura de cada aspecto da judiaria da Africa do Sul – só fiquei triste por não poder entender português.
